Solidtops becomes regional source for 1/2" PaperStone® countertop products.
March 01, 2011 - Easton, MD - Solidtops, LLC. a leading kitchen and bath countertop fabricator, has announced that it has reached an agreement to become the regional source for PaperStone® countertop products.
“With its high LEEDs points, Paperstone® in general is a truly unique countertop material.” said Evan Kruger, owner of Solidtops, LLC. “We have combined our experience and dedication to high quaility custom fabricated countertops with the most renewable countertop material available.”
PaperStone® is a new countertop material made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and with its non-porous surface provides a lifetime of stain resistance. PaperStone® is one of the few architectural solid surface materials certified to FSC standards by the Smartwood program of the Rainforest Alliance.
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System© is a voluntary standard for developing environmentally responsible, low emission, high performance, sustainable buildings. It was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy.
"PaperStone® is the most renewable countertop material available with up to 7 LEEDs points," Kruger said. "Yet it is one of the very few LEEDs qualifying surfaces that is affordable."
