Solid surface is a man-made material composed of aluminum trihydrate and acrylic, epoxy, or polyester resins. Solid Surfacing is seamless, hygienic, non-porous, and chemically resistant, as well as easily repairable. It is used for countertops, work areas, curbs, jambs, trim, shower walls, and more. You’ll often find solid surface in medical facilities, labs, bathrooms, and kitchens. If you HATE SEAMS this is the material for you.
